Wow, I love summer. All the great stuff happens to us when the weather gets hot.
This morning, Tod put us all in a big furoshiki and carried us through rush hour to Shibuya. Then he introduced us to a class of students at his Japanese school. He gave a speech about us!
Afterwards, I sat on the lap of the prettiest girl in class. Her name was Soon Yu, I think, but everyone called her "Ichi-ban Kirei"
Then we all went to the office and met Tod's friends Naoko and Sukki. Zousama got to sit on Sukki's lap, which is good. I think he was jealous of me and Ichi-ban Kirei. Zoukun played with Sukki's calculator. Zoupi jumped up and down on the hole punch a bunch of times.
Somebody took pictures, but I don't know where they are. But I have Tod's speech. Here it is as a PDF. Download file I will ask him to make it in English, too. But not tonight. It's bedtime!

Kristen tells me I get to write about books today. I am so excited.
1. Number of books I own: Only one. I wish it wree 12.
2. Last book I bought: Babar's Yoga for Elephants.
3. Last book I read: I borrow a lot of Kristen's books. The last one I read was a Thai cookbook. I wanted to make peanut sauce.
4. Five books that mean a lot to me:
Babar's Yoga for Elephants by Laurent de Brunhoff
The Elephant Vanishes by Haruki Murakami
The Elephants of Style : A Trunkload of Tips on the Big Issues and Gray Areas of Contemporary American Englishby Bill Walsh
The Life and Times of the Peanut by Charles Micucci
An Hour Before Daylight : Memoirs of a Rural Boyhood by Jimmy Carter
5. Five people I will tag to answer these questions: I can't think of anyone who likes to read as much as me, so just do it if you want to.

I think I'm in love. Princess Nelly is the most beautiful elephant ever.

Kristen and I are waiting for the bus to Ueon.
This morning, Zousan, Zoukun & I went to Ueno to play with some new friends. We took the bus!
There were a lot of people there...Felix and Jasmin from San Fransicso. They brough Bixley, Harry, Henry, Stanley and Poindexter (I think that was his name...). Tracey brought her cat, but not the scary one.
Deciding what to order was difficult
We went to a restaurant and I got to have my very own chair. But the waitress spilled a glass of iced tea ll over me. She was nice and dried me off good.
After lunch we went to Ameyoko. The man with the candy really liked me. He gave us extra candies. Now I have a whole bagful. I shared with Tracey because she is nice and took our picture.

Kristen sent us the music baton. We will answer it collectively.
Total volume of music files on our computer:
Our volume of music is 12. That's how loud we like it.
Song playing right now:
Zousan is playing his trumpet.
The last CD we bought:
We are saving all the change in the couch cushions for a trip to America to visit Jimmy Carter, so we don't buy CDs.
Five songs we listen to a lot, or that mean a lot to me:
We also kinda like Southside of the Zou, but it's a bad, mean song so we will not include it.
Five people to whom we're passing the baton:
Oh! Bunny. Mr. Floppy. Miki's Monkey. Shin-zou. And Elefunt in London.
